We live in a modern world full of technology, which has in the meantime reached a very high standard. It is hard to find places where we are not in touch with the latest technological developments. Today we can’t imagine living without this technological development. But there aren’t only positive aspects to this development. Although we have a lot of convenience and wealth by using the technology, at the same time the effects on the environment are pollution and other harmful impacts.

Our concept is to connect the sights of Mainz with a specific interest for tourists and the use of an e-car-network to reach these spots. We placed several charging stations within the city of Mainz and everyone who drives an e-car can use these stations. During the process of charging the batteries the user is able to obtain information about Mainz, its culture and history.

Additionally to the version with the opportunity to get information via one screen the game-station is the second option of the “Feeding Site” service. This option is more economical at places where we do not find so many tourists or pedestrians. The second version is equipped with one bigger screen and has more accurate information about Mainz as well as a local news service in contrast to the two-screened station. This allows the community to choose the model which fits best.
